This course introduces students to the basics of making short films, expanding on the knowledge and skills gained in Film Survey and Visual Literacy. Students will learn the basics of shooting, editing and lighting for film and will create an individual documentary project and a short narrative film in a crew (with a script from Scriptwriting and Storytelling). Through these projects, students will practice pre-production, production, and post-production, and will engage in an ongoing self-critical process of their development.
