In this course, students explore the concepts of professional identity and professional responsibility as it relates to the massage therapy profession in Ontario. Students discover what a massage therapist is, knows, does, and values. Students discuss general concepts of self-awareness, ethics, morals, and values. Cases allow students to engage with a clinical decision-making model that is ethical, outcome- based and evidence informed.
