Issues considered include selecting the suitable artist to work with and the responsibilities that a manager has to the artist. This includes negotiating record deals, applying for funding and one of the most important, the "how to" in placing the artist in front of an audience. Touring is the time-tested way to build an artist's following, and students will learn how to manage all aspects of a profitable tour.
