The course will provide insight into successful strategies for management and development of artists. From a variety of perspectives such as Artist and Repertoire, Music Supervision, Distributed Labels, and Artist Manager, students will learn to identify stages of development and opportunities for artists in different genres, then create and execute strategies and campaigns to promote those artists and their music. Whether working within a major music corporation, medium sized enterprise, or independent business, the development and curation of these relationships are critical to success in the industry.
