An intense introduction to music marketing covering key areas of marketing basics, marketing research and developing a marketing plan. Music publicity, Radio promotion, publicity materials, advertising, sales materials, merchandising, websites, social media, online marketing and e-marketing will be discussed. The course examines individual song and album marketing from A&R through to release, in various genres, as well as TV marketing, digital marketing, physical marketing, catalogues, and international marketing. New technologies, and current industry trends will also be explored and analyzed.
