This course introduces end-to-end telecommunication system. Students learn different key components of telecommunication systems including different topologies of packet switched networks and applications. Learners develop skills working with Layer 1 components and learn to encode binary data and decode it at Layer 1 level. Learners also learn to use different protocols used in formation of packets and frames to carry data in packet switched networks.
