Students learn how to describe and configure LAN switch, VLANs, Etherchannels and VTP. Students also study various types of spanning tree protocols with configuration, understanding its operation. They also learn to operate, configure and verify IPv4 and IPv6 networks, including configuration of various IP protocols, EIGRP, OSPF and understanding of BGP protocol. Students are also introduced to various IP and WAN services, understanding VPN and MPLS connecting technologies. IPv6 addressing and getting familiar with networking management and programmability.
