Students study wide range of applications of wireless networks in telecommunication, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing industries and SME's. Students learn about IEEE 802.11 standards, protocols and applications. They learn to set up, configure and troubleshoot IEEE 802.11 based wireless networks used in SME's, enterprise set up and public places like shopping malls, manufacturing and transportation industry. Students begin with understanding of ISM frequency spectrum and configuring ad-hoc network based IEEE 802.11 standards. Students learn about architecture of wireless enterprise networks and technologies used to support enterprise wireless networks.
