Students study processes to automate repetitive tasks that network or system administrators perform on the regular basis. Student learn how automation processes increase the efficiency of the network system and if done properly, optimize the utilization of network resources. Students learn tools and technologies to plan and automate various events in network environment as well as scripting tools used to automate the events. Students implement applications based on automation tools, to monitor and troubleshoot networks, and to add flexibility and customizability in the network design. Students also learn that network automation reduces network down times and increases network performance, while improving network scalability and availability.
