This course covers security and integrity of data and the threats associated to it. This data may be stored in private or public or hybrid cloud environment or this data is saved on local servers, whether data is in transit or data is saved in third party stores, this course covers different scenarios to identify threats against data and locate and mitigate these threats. Students also learn the threats and vulnerabilities associated when working with different cloud service models (such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). Learners learn to recognize importance of data and information and learn to protect this information against cyber threats. Students learn about the tools and practically use the monitoring tools to detect and prevent intrusion threats. When students learn to recognize threats against data and integrity of data, this helps in understanding rules to mitigate these threats, prevent data breaches, identity thefts and cyberattacks.
