Students integrate knowledge from nursing, biological, and social science into an acute care experience. In an acute care practice setting, students collaborate with clients and members of the inter-professional health care team to develop, evaluate and modify care plans. Using reflective practice, students develop personal learning plans that foster professional growth and strengthen their knowledge and skills. They must act in a professional and ethical manner within the regulatory framework and by using the practice settings policies and procedures.
