This course continues the study of medications and their effects on clients receiving drugs for gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, reproductive and central and autonomic nervous systems. The preparation and administration of intravenous infusions, blood products, immunizing agent and drugs by intravenous routes are included. There is an emphasis placed on the role of the practical nurse in pharmacotherapeutics.
