This course provides the scientific foundation for understanding how exercise impacts human health and is used to promote healthy living. This course explores the exercise-induced physiologic changes of various systems including the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine systems throughout the lifespan. The focus of the course is on the application of exercise science for nutrition professionals.
