This course examines the delegated mandate of administrative tribunals, together with the practice and procedures of appearing before administrative tribunals and the requisite documentation. Paralegal advocacy skills are emphasized. Based on first-hand insight into the workings of tribunals from observation and critical analysis of local tribunal proceedings, students will apply the rules of procedural fairness and address evidentiary and substantive issues by participating in simulated administrative tribunal hearings.
