Students study the primary sources that set out the major schools of ethical thought and moral reasoning. Various models are used to critically analyze Canadian criminal and civil cases, as well as social issues such as euthanasia, abortion, animal rights, capital punishment, professional misconduct and corruption. In addition, students will have the opportunity to reflect upon their own ethical reasoning and consider alternative approaches.
