This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), its roles and responsibilities and its place in the federal government. The course will examine the key federal government agencies that impact the CBSA, the legislation that the CBSA operates under, and the roles and duties of various officers within the agency. The course will focus on the administrative and enforcement functions of the agency as they relate to the movement of persons and goods across the international border.
