This course teaches surveillance practices and concepts, and generates proficiency in the use of field equipment. The course teaches students how to collect information in a legal and ethical manner, including how to handle court documentation. In addition, students develop surveillance skills through practical application exercises involving solo and team environments. Students will learn to utilize foot and vehicle surveillance at a variety of sites and integrate specialized equipment and surveillance techniques to surreptitiously follow a known target.
