Students spend 12 weeks immersed in a work placement in which they apply the range of skills, knowledge, techniques and systematic approaches to the research process that have been covered in the program courses. Typically, students are engaged in multiple phases of industry research projects. They will be involved to varying extents in planning, proposing, designing, collecting, developing, evaluating, executing and interpreting research as needed and as directed by their placement supervisor.
