This course highlights the theory and application behind the equipment used in airway care and prepares students to competently manage patients in need of emergency airway management. This lab focuses on the use of mechanical suction, manual resuscitator, all kinds of laryngoscopy devices, endotracheal and tracheostomy tubes, securing devices etc. Students will learn to apply, assist and perform basic and advanced airway management interventions.
