This course provides high-fidelity artificial representations of real-world scenarios to help students learn how to react, prepare for and manage respiratory conditions. In this course students practice oroendotracheal intubation, insertion and management of tracheostomy tubes, airway suctioning, obtaining a blood sample for arterial blood gases, insertion of an arterial indwelling catheter and performing a bedside spirometry amongst many other procedures.
