This course familiarizes learners with the tools and techniques required to manage projects and provides the opportunity to gain knowledge about Project Management. The course structure is based on "the Guide to Project Management Book of Knowledge" PMBOK 6th Edition published by the Institute of Project Management, (PMI) in 2017. Course topics cover all of the project management knowledge areas, and the process groups that are used for managing projects successfully. In addition to satisfying the postsecondary program requirement, this course is a registered activity with the PMI and as such also satisfies the requirements of CNST 250, the first in a series of four courses that lead to a Humber Certificate of Achievement in Project Management.
