This Capstone course offers students an opportunity to consolidate and integrate their program learning by conducting a self-directed group project activity. The goal of this project is to prepare and Energy Audit Report for a municipal building. Students will describe and prepare drawings of the building, complete a utility analysis, develop an energy model using industry-standard software, recommend energy conservation, operation and maintenance measures and present a comprehensive retrofit program including an economic analysis.
