This course challenges students to discover, experience and critically think about sport-related special topics. Through in-class learning, self-directed learning, active participation, and guest speakers, students explore trends, opportunities, and challenges in three sport-related special topics including 1) Indigenous sport, 2) para sport and 3) game day operations and analytics. Students have frequent opportunities to learn from and interact with industry professionals throughout this course.
