Special Topics in Marketing and Communications

This course challenges students to critically think about marketing and communications and their applications to the strategic management and operation of sport organizations. Through in-class learning, self-directed learning, active participation, and guest speakers, students explore trends, opportunities, and challenges in 1) digital marketing, 2) strategic communications and 3) Integrated marketing strategies. Students have frequent opportunities to learn from and interact with industry professionals throughout this course.
