Successful completion of this course provides students with an understanding of marketing and its role in the delivery of sport. Students examine the market research process and its impact to various marketing strategies and also understand how to create and implement successful marketing strategies specific to the sport industry and its consumers. Additionally, students apply marketing principles through the design and implementation of a marketing strategy for a sport event and/or brand.
