This course provides Social Service Worker students with the necessary tools to create documents required for successful employment applications while in the program and after graduation. Students will develop the fundamentals for an effective job search in order to empower students to become resourceful, and innovative to independently secure employment opportunities. Maintaining professionalism is another focus of this course because it is imperative to know what is expected in the workplace in order to advance in the profession. Ultimately, career planning skills will be enhanced and applied in order to prepare for entry into the workforce.
