Students examine the professional challenges common to those in the role of systems navigation and learn to define the evolving scope of practice and inform others of the professional boundaries and skills that are critical to success in the role. Students integrate theories of professional development and reflective practice and develop skills to respond to stressors in the face of workplace challenges.
