The TCM Jurisprudence course is based on the guideline developed by CTCMPAO. Students learn the important legal and ethical principles practitioners need to know, including professionalism and self-regulation, communication and related law. Students learn the concepts of self-regulation, ethics, professional standards, professional misconduct, incompetence and incapacity. Through lectures and case scenario discussion, students apply concepts related to informed consent, boundaries and sexual abuse, inter-professional collaboration and billing .
