Students continue applying their theoretical knowledge of professional responsibilities to the clinical setting in Interprofessional Collaborative Placement. Students gain experience through clinical rotations in health care institutions and integrative health care settings. During the clinical observation, students develop an expanded understanding of health care service, patient-directed care, and how the coordination of multi-disciplinary health practices can support Interprofessional Collaboration. Emphasis on building competency in professional communication, conflict resolution and team functioning are prioritized in order to prepare students for the potential complexities facing them in future clinical settings.
