Students expand their knowledge of the channel system by exploring the extraordinary, sinew, and divergent channels and their relevance to treatment strategies. They explore the unique functions of different branches of the channel system, and the depth and complexity of their clinical use. Students palpate the channels and key acupuncture points to appreciate their impact on physical and emotional health. Through continued development of skills in patient communication, touch consent, and professional, ethical interactions, students ensure safe practice.
