Students apply fundamental knowledge of the acupuncture points in TCM diagnosis and treatment. They compare and differentiate the acupuncture points found on the same channel, differing channels, and across different functional categories, to better understand their properties, therapeutic functions, and clinical applications. Students integrate knowledge of point functions, cautions and contraindications to identify appropriate acupuncture points in TCM treatments.
