Students transition their knowledge from classroom theory to clinical practice through observation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioners and Acupuncturists in community clinics. Students learn how TCM professionals apply their knowledge, skills, and judgment to all practice areas by observing clinical assessments, the TCM diagnostic process, development of treatment plans, and treatment execution. Students observe and reflect on professionalism, the therapeutic relationship, business and practice management, safety, and patient record keeping practices.
