Students develop competency in advanced acupuncture procedures, including methods for building effective acupuncture point prescriptions. Students gain hands-on experience with diverse point stimulation techniques, including microsystems acupuncture, to address various clinical conditions. Emphasis is placed on adapting the clinical setting to enhance patient comfort and safety, covering proper patient positioning, precise point location, and the application of advanced needling techniques, including electrical stimulation of needles, dermal and three-edge needling. Students learn to monitor patient responses and develop effective, safe, and patient-centered treatments.
