Students begin direct clinical interactions, providing treatment to members of the public in supervised clinical settings. Emphasizing connected and compassionate care for sensitive communities, students apply auricular acupuncture, tuina, cupping, guasha, or qi gong exercises in the clinical environment, supporting populations managing addiction, withdrawal, trauma, and/or stress-related concerns. Building on their knowledge from previous courses on mental health and addictions, students establish trusting, therapeutic relationships while applying techniques to address both emotional and physical needs.
