Students bridge their knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory, diagnostic methods, and acupuncture to theoretical clinical practice. Students compare typical signs, symptoms, aetiology, and pathogenesis of TCM illnesses before developing a syndrome differentiation to determine treatment goals and strategies, taking into account precautions and contraindications. Students master a clinical approach to TCM illnesses encompassed by pathologies of Qi, Blood and Body Fluids, as well as disorders of gynaecological and andrological sexual and reproductive health, complying with the regulatory colleges entry-level occupational competencies as well as clinically relevant illnesses.
