Students apply TCM theory, diagnostic, and treatment methods to the clinical care of dermatological conditions across all skin types. Students explore the TCM physiology of skin health, distinguish the morphology of primary and secondary skin lesions according to dermatological diagnostic standards and correlate these findings with TCM pathogenic factors and pattern differentiation. Students establish treatment plans based on the TCM diagnosis including external applications.
