Students develop the foundational business skills required to manage a successful and ethically sound Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture practice. Emphasis is placed on understanding practice requirements, regulatory standards, and professional obligations, including compliance with CTCMPAO guidelines and local laws. Students explore key topics such as creating and managing contracts and leases, billing for insurance claims, basic accounting, income tax filing, and financial management tailored to healthcare businesses. The course also highlights strategies for effective marketing, human resources management, and the legal responsibilities of employers, preparing students to navigate the complexities of operating a TCM practice with confidence and professionalism. By engaging with practical business concepts, students gain the tools to build sustainable, patient-centered practices while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
