TCM Classics II introduces students to the Shang Han Lun (Treatise on Cold Damage), Jin Gui Yao Lue (Synopsis of the Golden Chamber), and Wen Bing Xue (Treatise on Warm Diseases), three critical texts focused on disease patterns and treatment approaches. Students explore the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment strategies presented in these texts, including herbal formulas for managing acute and chronic illnesses. The course also covers the historical significance of these works and how they continue to influence clinical practice. Students will critically assess the relevance of these classics in the diagnosis and treatment of modern health conditions.
