This course deepens students skills in technical communication for applied science and technology fields. Students learn to write more complex documents that meet industry standards. Students use advanced digital tools to research, synthesize, and communicate technical information through oral and visual methods. The course emphasizes ethical communication practices, including responsible AI use and adherence to professional standards. Students also analyze and develop solutions to interpersonal and systemic challenges in technical environments, while reflecting on the impact of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging (EDIB) and social identity in their professional practice.
