The TESL Practicum 1 component is an application of theoretical and practical aspects in an adult ESL setting. Each student is required to observe in a variety of adult ESL classes, including LINC, ESL and college EAP. The guided observation of various types of ESL classes will enable the students to analyze the application of TESL theory. Students will learn how to apply methods and techniques and use appropriate ESL curricula which reflect the ESL learners' needs and goals as well as their various language learning abilities.
