During this final fieldwork placement, students continue to acquire and refine their abilities and professional behaviours as an occupational therapist assistant (OTA) and/or physiotherapist assistant (PTA). Collaborative and active learning experiences will increase the students' understanding and promotion of their role(s) as an OTA and/or a PTA while enhancing their recognition of and respect for the roles and functions of other team members. They will apply their accumulated knowledge and skills in a comprehensive manner in a variety of complex rehabilitation environments.
