This course will introduce students to the basic tools of hand drafting and provide an overview of hand drafting. It will then introduce students to AutoCAD, the most commonly used computer assisted design & drafting (CADD) program in the theatre industry, and provide in depth instruction on how to use AutoCAD to accurately represent sets and other objects graphically for construction in theatre workshops.
