Building on the basics learned in THTR 161 - Properties 1, the student will further explore the materials and methods of theatrical properties building, as well as develop skills and knowledge pertaining to time and material budgeting. The focus of this course is on the construction of two finished props; a mask built from a designer's rendering, and artificial food built from a photograph. Students will also have the opportunity to critique their work on stage under theatrical lighting.
