Students will research the significant playwrights, companies, innovations, craftsmen and designers which marked key turning points in theatre's development. In addition, students investigate the socio-political, cultural and technological factors of each period and the direct ways in which it has influenced theatre's production and reception. Students attend professional performances and provide a written or creative project as assigned.
