This course continues to build on costuming skills and knowledge previously acquired in Wardrobe 1 and 2. Students will be introduced to historical fashion underpinnings (specifically, the petticoat and corset) and their influence on the silhouette. Through a combination of tutorials and demonstrations, students will follow through to completion projects that require creating patterns by the method of draping on a dress form. Students will also hone more advanced costume construction and alteration techniques.
