This course introduces students to the emerging role of technology and the many ways it is shaping the overall tourism industry. Students will become acquainted with the key technology platforms and acquire the skills required to successfully integrate technology into tourism focused enterprises. Topics include both theoretical aspects as well as the practical ability to engage with different platforms. This will include social media platforms as related to tourism, content creation and digital campaign management.
