To prepare students for optimal experience in the year ahead, this introductory course dives right into the heart of human-centred design and its potential for tackling the most pressing and thorny problems of our time. Students learn by doing, applying the principles of immersive research, sense-making, problem and solution-finding, prototype iteration and innovation, and explaining their choices through storytelling. Learners tackle real business and social challenges, actively observing, interviewing, sharing insights, ideating, prototyping, developing and presenting an engaging story to positively impact acceptance of the innovation.
