The final collaborative project integrates previous learning, applies theory and method, and stretches the student's generative and creative faculties. The course is divided into two parts, allowing time for research, planning, execution, presentation and review. Mirroring industry practice, teams will operate within either a waterfall of agile project management framework, and recognize the important features of both approaches. Students will engage in immersive, empathic research to find and define worthy design problems to solve. This course is tied to a 105-hour work placement.
