Vector drawing tools allow for the creation of resolution-independent graphics, which are ideal for website planning and certain graphical elements. Using a hands-on approach, students will receive training on user interface design for the web. Initially, students will become familiar with the tools and techniques used within various vector-drawing software suites. Lessons on creating prototypes for responsive web sites, layouts adjustments for smartphones, tablets, desktop computers and other modern browsing devices will be covered in this course. The end goal will be to design user interfaces that follow best practices and usability guidelines.
