This course will examine the large variety of media, which can be embedded natively within an HTML5 document. Going beyond streaming media, students will also venture into the realm of Social Media and the various ways it can be embedded within a website to help it gain popularity. Students will be shown the importance of properly encoding, embedding and styling various forms of accessible video and audio using JavaScript code or standards-compliant JavaScript libraries when building a web site.
